Lonar Crater Lake, Maharashtra

It’s a gigantic granite boulder resting on the inclined surface, at the town of Mamallapuram in Tamil Nadu. it is the part of UNESCO world heritage site, built during the 7-8th century CE by Pallava Dynasty. It is also listed in Protected National Monument by Archaeological Survey of India.
The boulder is approximately 6 meters high and 5 meters wide and weighs around 250 tons. It looks like its floating and might fall but it is standing for 1200 years on top.

Magnetic Hill, Laddakh

Here even if you put your car on neutral it climbs up the hill that too with the speed of 20-30 kmph.
Located at the elevation of 3352.8 meters, famous for its magnetic properties. It pulls the stationary vehicles up the Leh-Kargil highway. 30km away from the Leh city.
Locals believe that some kind of divine force exists there for this unusual phenomena, while scientist and rationalist believe otherwise that there is magnetic field responsible for the phenomena.
According to the geologist, they provide totally different theory, they believe that this happens due to the optical illusion.
Apart from controversy, this Magnetic hill attracts tourist attraction for its uniqueness.
Best time to visit is Summers when the phenomenon is more active than the rest of the year.
